Audit logs
Feature video
Who is this for?
- Administrators who need to explain a configuration change.
- Compliance and security teams who need an audit trail.
Permissions and licenses
- Requires the Governance add-on, which can be enabled on any plan.
- Page restricted to people allowed to view audit logs.
- Without the add-on, the page is visible but its content stays inaccessible.
How to use it
Open the page
Go to Settings > Governance > Audit logs.
Read an entry
The table has four columns: Performed on, By, Action and On.
Changes made in the same movement are grouped: saving a form that touches several objects produces a single entry, which can be expanded to see each change in detail with the values before and after.
Filter the history
Four filters combine:
- By: the author of the change, chosen among the active users.
- Action:
created, updatedordeleted. - On: the type of object concerned — access group, call, company, integration, summary template, report template, team or user.
- Period: the date picker at the top of the page.
Navigate the results
Entries are sorted from the most recent to the oldest and paginated. The filters and the current page are kept in the address, so you can share a filtered view.
Understand what is tracked
Tracked objects are those whose modification has a lasting effect: company, team and user settings, teams and users, roles, access rules and the access granted on a call, call sharings, integrations and the accounts attached to them, summary templates and their translations, report templates and their recipients, API keys, and the assistant's scheduling on a meeting.
Simple viewing actions are not tracked.
Going further
- Audit logs answer the question "who changed this setting"; they do not replace access rules, which decide what each person can see.
- A single form save appears as one entry: the grouping by request is what makes the history readable.
- Summary templates only keep their last ten text versions, so the history of a heavily reworked prompt does not drown out the rest.
Frequently asked questions
Things to watch out for
- Actions carried out by Leexi support also appear in the logs: that is how you check what was done during an intervention.
- A deactivated user stays visible as the author of past changes, but no longer appears in the By filter, which only offers active users.
- Removing the Governance add-on cuts off access to the page; the history already built up is not lost for that.
