Microsoft To Do
Who is this for?
- For all users who want to find their Leexi tasks in Microsoft To Do.
- Personal integration: each user connects their own Microsoft account, and their tasks are sent to their own Microsoft To Do.
Permissions and licenses
- License required: a Business or Enterprise plan.
- A Microsoft work or school account with access to Microsoft To Do.
- Each user connects their own Microsoft account from their personal integrations.
How to use it
Open your personal integrations
From your Leexi account, go to My integrations and, on the Microsoft To Do card, click Authorize with Microsoft.
Sign in with your Microsoft account
Sign in with your Microsoft account and accept the requested permissions.
Configure task management
You are redirected back to Leexi and the Task management settings open automatically. Three settings are available:
- Automatic task sending: enabled by default. Each new Leexi task matching your sending conditions is automatically created in Microsoft To Do.
- Priorities to send: the task priorities that trigger automatic sending. By default, Urgent and High are selected.
- Create tasks in: the list where your tasks will be created in Microsoft To Do. If you leave it empty, tasks go to the default list.
Save your settings
Your changes are saved automatically. You can reopen these settings at any time via the Manage button on the Microsoft To Do card.
You're done! From now on, every new Leexi task matching your selected priorities (whether created manually or detected by the AI during your meetings) automatically appears in your Microsoft To Do list.
Going further
Sending a task manually
Tasks that were not sent automatically (a priority you did not select, automatic sending turned off, or tasks created before you connected the integration) can be sent by hand:
- Go to your Tasks page in Leexi.
- Open the menu of the task card and click Send task.
Each task card shows its current sync status: Synced (with the Microsoft To Do logo), Not synced, or Sync failed.
What is sent to Microsoft To Do
- The task title.
- The due date.
- The task importance, mapped from the Leexi priority (Urgent and High → High, Medium → Normal, Low and Trivial → Low).
- A description containing the task subject and a link back to the meeting in Leexi.
Task edits are sent automatically as well: as long as the task's priority is one of your selected priorities, changes to its title, due date, or priority reach Microsoft To Do when you save. Sending an already synced task again updates the existing task instead of creating a duplicate, even if you have moved it to another list on the Microsoft side; if the task was deleted in Microsoft To Do, it is simply recreated.
Frequently asked questions
Check the following in the Task management settings (the Manage button on the Microsoft To Do card):
- Automatic task sending is enabled.
- The task's priority is one of the Priorities to send.
Also note that tasks created before you connected the integration are never sent retroactively, and edits to a task whose priority is outside your selected priorities are not sent automatically either. In both cases, use the Send task action.
Contact your Microsoft administrator: they will need to approve the application by following these instructions: Review admin consent requests. Once they have approved the application, run the activation flow again.
Your Microsoft administrator can grant admin consent to the Leexi application so that each user in your company can activate the integration without going through individual approval.
Things to watch out for
- A field cleared in Leexi (for example a removed due date) keeps its previous value in Microsoft To Do.
- Tasks created before you connected the integration are not sent retroactively: use the Send task action to send them by hand.
- If you change a task's priority to one outside your selected priorities, the edit is not sent automatically. Leexi then shows a warning in the edit form.
