Claap migration
Import your Claap meeting recordings and their transcripts into Leexi.
Who is this for?
- Administrators who manage the company's integrations.
Permissions and licenses
- Administrator rights on your Leexi account.
- Admin or Owner role on your Claap workspace.
- License required: depending on your plan, check availability in Settings > Integrations.
How to use it
Generate your Claap API key
In Claap, go to Settings > API & Webhooks, open the API tab, then click Create API key. The key is defined at workspace level: a single key is enough to migrate the whole team's recordings.
Copy your API key
Copy your API key: it is only displayed once. If you lose it, delete it and create a new one.
Add the Claap migration in Leexi
Go to Settings > Integrations, find the Claap integration, click Add, then enter the API key.

- Meeting recordings with their metadata
- Transcripts
- Claap summaries
For calls Claap generated no summary for, we generate ours. Follow-up tasks and the chapter breakdown are always generated by Leexi.
Things to watch out for
- The migration does not start automatically: it begins once our teams have validated your request.
- The full data import can take up to 24 hours.
- Only data from the last 2 years is imported.
- If you have a large volume of data to migrate, additional fees may apply.
- Private recordings cannot be retrieved through the Claap API: only recordings that are accessible to the workspace and visible in Claap's global search can be imported.
- Claap recordings without video (transcript only) are imported without media.
- Speakers Claap could not identify, which it names
speaker_2,speaker_3, stay unidentified in Leexi.
