kMeet
Who is this for?
- All users who organize or attend meetings on kMeet, Infomaniak's videoconferencing tool.
Permissions and licenses
- License required: depending on your plan, check availability in Settings > General > Integrations.
- No kMeet account is needed: the assistant joins the meeting as a guest.
How to use it
Activate a calendar integration
Activate the Google Calendar or Outlook integration from Integrations. Leexi then automatically sends the assistant to record your kMeet meetings.
Declare your custom kMeet domain if needed
By default, only kMeet meetings of the form https://kmeet.infomaniak.com/abcdefghijklmnop are detected. If your organization uses kMeet on its own domain (Custom Brand), go to https://app.leexi.ai/en/settings/integrations, find the kMeet integration, click Manage, then add your domain's URL.
Let the assistant join your meetings
As soon as a kMeet link, or a link starting with the URL of your declared domain, is in the description or location of a calendar event, the event is automatically treated as a kMeet meeting and the assistant is sent to record it.
Admit the assistant if your meeting has a waiting room
If the waiting room is disabled, the assistant joins on its own. If it is enabled, the assistant asks to join and waits up to 9 minutes: admit it so it can start recording.
Going further
Pausing the recording
You can pause the recording from the assistant by typing /pause in the meeting chat, then /resume to resume it. The assistant confirms the pause and resume in the chat.
Things to watch out for
- A kMeet meeting's password is not included in its link. A password-protected meeting without a waiting room cannot be recorded: the meeting's card shows
The meeting required a password to join, which is not supported. With a waiting room enabled, the assistant asks to join and you can admit it. - Without a declared custom domain, only
kmeet.infomaniak.comlinks are detected as kMeet meetings.
